Wow you went way too small on the tips. Stock are 4" I believe

it is a much smaller diameter then stock tips, but match up well with the 2.5 pipes, looks good. I did have the option for bigger tips, but didn't like them as much.....personal preference

Is the y pipe only for the factory duals sorry if that's a dumb question.

I've seen the y pipe has been brought up before an I don't know what it's all about

The factory y-pip e is crush-bent, which restricts exhaus t flow.

That was quick--knew I'd draw return fire, just didn't expect it on the very next post. For what its worth, there is one thing more obnoxious than the 14" and that is the muffler delete. :p

If you don't replace the y pipe it defeats the purpose of having a free-flowing exhaust! You're only as good as your weakest link!

The cat-back system also deletes the resonators. I ended up going that route because I liked the way the bigger tips filled out the contoured bumper. Deleting the resonators, buying a muffler, having it welded in, buying the tips, and having them welded in would have costed me close to the same so I went with the simple bolt on kit. Quick and easy. If I were being economical, I would have just went with the muffler and called it a day though.
