Since I already had AlfaOBD, the MX+ interface and the security bypass harness due to other mods (2020 Classic) I just did it myself...

About $36 for the hood latch w/switch, ran a wire to the BCU. $9 for two remote button overlays off Amazon.

After I finished the programming I read how much folks were getting charged for a spare/replacement remote, so I found 2 new ones on Amazon (I have tip start on the Classic):

Aupoko GQ4-53T 4 Buttons Keyless Entry Fob, 2 PC Programmable Remote Keys, Replace# 56046955,56046955AG, 56046955AA, 56046955AB, Fits for 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZNWYY9...abc_PBAAN939B0PRRGFCNXPS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

$29 for two, plus a couple bucks at the local hardware store to cut the metal key inserts.

Just remember you need your vehicle PIN to do the procedure in Alfa...and remember to reset the RF Hub.

All told it was around $85 to add remote start and 2 additional remotes, plus then I could enable the factory alarm in Alfa.

I didn’t factor in the cost of Alfa, the MX+ and the bypass harness as those items paid for themselves many mods ago.

I just did my 2018 2500. 2 fobs from Amazon, a used sparkplug wire and Alfaobd on my laptop. Works great.
My 2018 2500 had the wire on pin 11 that went to the white plug under the fuse box under the hood. I used a spark plug wire cut to about 8 inch's to get the 1k ohms going from ground to the hood switch circuit for testing purposes.( ordered the hood latch but didn't want to wait.) Make sure to always use the hood latch with the switch for the end result so nobody looses a limb unintentional. There is no need for harnesses and all the other BS everyone wants to sell.

Did your truck originally come with a key fob from the factory? My did not and I would very much like to add them.
