Finally got my RCSB EXPRESS, friend wants to race

I finally got my black regular cab express with 3.55's...now has 250 miles on the clock after three days. Im going to be driving it around some more to get miles on it, but this friday i am going to the track (1/8 mile)...my friend has a frontier 4 door and says he can get me, whats my chances?...he says he will get me at the track, and on the street from a 20,30, and 40 roll????...

his frontier is rated at 265hp, but he weighs less...i saw some 1/4 mile vids on YOUTUBE...some run low 15's and some high 14's...near stock...

Express=Hemi.

Those little trucks are quick off the line IF they can get traction, after first they start to fall off. My Mom has a 4.0L crewcab Frontier and it'll get out of it's own way. Seen one at the track once had like 3.5 second 60' LOL and ran 16.8ish. One wheel wonder.

You won't have a problem with him.

I wouldn't worry at all, in my 05 Ram, crew cab, I raced some yahoo with a Nissan, he had the 4 door whatever they call it, made him look stupid. The 05 had 50 less HP then our new 13's do too but I did have the diablo predator tuner on it so that helped a little.

You should get him every time. I raced my friend with a bone stock cummins and won by about a trucks length. He then asked if I had a supercharger haha. But go out to the track with him and find out.

If you are going to do that, head to the strip in Sealy and keep it off the streets!

Actually sounds like your friend is an IDIOT if he wants a rolling start. I think he already knows he'll loose off the line from a standing start. Don't waste your time!

I had a 04 Frontier before I moved to a real truck..... from a dead stop it has nothing and is nothing compared to hemi.... rolling or not. if you go from a roll use the + - thing on the shifter and get a good gear to start with

i raced him from a 30 roll...until 70ish mph...3+ cars still pulling haha...we went to the track but he backed out, i ran and it was a 1/8 mile though. Ran a 9.9 @ 73mph...spinning about 15-20ft of the line (ricers messed up the track a little)

Yeah I know haha....reason is I rode in it and it will put you back a little bit...but I know if we did 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile it would be ****...
