So I finally decided to do some work on my Ram. Started by removing the interior and adding some sound deadening to floors, cab wall and inside of the doors. And ran new 2/0 welding wire for power and ground. Stereo will be 2 JL audio 10w7s powered by a slash 1000/1 and 6.5s , 3.5s and tweets powered by a slash 300/2. Subs will be behind the seat. Sony app radio will reside behind a custom bezel modified to hold an iPad which controls the radio. This will be a slow but steady build hopefully.

I just did that to my quad cab but didn't take off the inner door cards. The fiancee thought I lost my mind when she saw it and kept asking if I'd be able to put it back together

After I figured it out, it was a breeze. I was thinking the window would come out with it. Not the case.

That thing is going to be loud. A write up on removing the door card would be awesome, if you haven't done the passenger side yet. Where in FL are you?

I was thinking of doing that. It will be helpful. I'm in the Tampa area.

I am really surpised you got enough room in there for 2 W7's, very impressive. Let us know how it sounds, it should be pretty awesome in a reg cab.

With the vents on the back wall covered, do you have any issues with ventilation or ears popping when you close the doors? I know they open when you run fresh air or defrost. I am tempted to seal mine off too or at least cover them in foam as they let in a lot of noise.

Oh and great job on the mat. Plus 1 on the write-up.

Don't seal them, I did that and man the ear aches that can create really quickly. When I re-did mine recently I purposefully left an 1/8in clearance just for that fact.

I 2nd this. I only put Stinger Roadkill on where I could reach by pulling the speaker and the access panel.

I should have it playing this weekend. I had to remove the center seat belt parts in order to get the room. But it fits perfectly. 14" tall, 9.75" deep and 59" wide.

Yeah it does. But I compensate by using the sliding glass lol. I had to slam my door the first time.
