fixing a scratch...

somehow i got this scratch on the side of my door. I'm not sure if someone purposely did it or if something hit it will i was driving or something.

i got a paint pen from a dodge dealer...

anyone have tips and tricks to fix this and make it look like new. or atlas much better

Fill with a couple coats. Wait 24hrs. Buff the area

get a good compound and polish....do that 1st and then see what needs to be touched up. Don't expect perfection (aka miracles).

THIS^^^^ You may be surprised at how less noticeable a scratch can be once you spend a little time on it.

it will never be new or unless you bondo, weld, or replace panel. you can get it looking better but that's a deep one from pics.
