Fox Box very disappointing

So...my buddy ordered a Fox Box after I suggested it due to all the positive feedback here. Well...he has had a pretty crappy time with them. The box was ordered...and then not shipped for 1.5 weeks. Then...when it shows up he gets this!??

They are shipping him a new one...but when he called and spoke to the owner about the issues the attitude was nothing but poor by his accounts.

I just thought I'd share this information here so that you can make an informed decision.

I'm quite happy I got a fibre glass Atrend box. Great build quality, and no need to lift the seats.

They are taking the first one back...sent him a new one.

That's unfortunate...looks like it would be the shipping companies fault, not Fox Acoustics. It took a month for mine to show up back in the day.
It'll sound good. Make sure to run a thick bead of silicone around the plastics tubs before securing them to the bottom of the enclosure. I'd also recommend applying a bit of sound dampener to the inside of the plastic tubs, and make some type of decoupler for between the plastic tubs and the floor of the truck. Keep resonances at bay

That's too bad. Mine showed up in excellent condition with the tub already attached. At least, they're making it right and sending out a new one.

I also had no issues whatsoever with the company or the box, I believe on the website somewhere I read that sometimes they make them by order which would explain the 1 1/2 weeks wait. Fox Acoustics also didn't have nothing to do with the damage during shipping, that falls on the shipping company. I have had mine since 2014 when I got my truck and am very happy with the product.
