I'm trying to switch out my chrome logo on my front black grill of my 2016 outdoorsman to a black one. The one on my tailgate was a breeze however I'm having issues figuring out how I should put the front one on. Suggestions or tips anyone?

Are you actually asking how to take the front one off?

Putting it on would be the same steps, but backwards.

Remove the grill. Then you slowly pop it out.

If it is the same as 2012 there are four tabs you need to push all four out.

Once the grill is off, it takes like 5 seconds. Real easy.

Yep, just take the grill off, handful of fasteners and then just pop it out of the grill. Easy-peasy. I switched all of the emblems on my truck to black. Looks much better IMO.

I will speak for the 15s... Its not that easy the first time. Thats a fresh piece of double sided tape on the bottom and it doesnt play around, especially while trying to keep all 4 clips undone at the same time.

The older models (that say "dodge" on the rear badge) are just held in there with a sticky, dry rotted piece of foam tape. Now those are easy.

Use a piece of fishing line to "saw" the emblem off the body. Then pull the remaining adhesive away like how you remove the 3M removable hooks. Use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to clean off any remaining residue.
There are videos on YouTube how to do it.

I actually just left mine on and plasty dip mine. I did 6 coats on it. Still looks super clean. I think there's a clear coat you can put over it to to get the shine to it if you don't won't the flat look

I had the same thing as AustinB on my 2015 ram, my emblem also had a very stubborn piece of 3m tape and it was a pain to get off. Trying to hold back all 4 tabs all while also dealing with the tape.
