How about the rear on the tail gate? Cause im gunna be painting mine asap once the snow goes away.

Thought the year just needed a little fishing line, heat, and time? And only had pin holes to line it up.

I just got my new rear emblem in mail. It does have 2 pieces of plastic sticking out but i didnt really look at it. I will send pic when i get in tonight.

Ya the rear is just tape but has 2 pins and once removed from the tailgate theres 2 holes

Yep that is the the rear emblem. I am currently in the middle of painting one right now.

A couple pieces of 3m moulding tape and you're good to go.

Once off was it easy to stick back on ?

I changed from an OEM 2010 badge to a 2011 one that we painted. It was cake, as it was new. LOL

But yeah, some 3M and you are set.

I have a local shop taking care of the emblems. I found him on the NYC Maxima forum. Guy in brooklyn. Sick work.

Im not doing till april/may. Getting few things together to give everything at once.

How are you having the badges painted

Step 1: Sand

Step 2: Clean then primer

Step 3: Spray background color

Step 4: Tape off back ground color

Step 5: Paint border and Ram head color

Step 6: Remove back ground tape.

Step 7: clear coat

I'm in that process currently

Step 8: wetsand and apply.
