I'm looking to replace the speakers in my Non-Alpine stereo. I want to keep the front 6x9s and put matching pair in the rear, but know depth is an issue. What is the maximum depth that can be installed and how big of a spacer can be added without doing any cutting? Any specific speaker spacers recommended over another?

I was looking at the Focal Integrations https://www.crutchfield.com/p_091ISC690/Focal-Integration-ISC-690.html?tp=91

and the Kickers https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20646CC693/Kicker-46CSC6934.html?tp=91

I have no plans on adding amps or subs down the line, just looking to upgrade the current speaker setup.

The front doors, the max depth is limited to 2 3/4 inches if I remember correctly. Those Focal 6x9's are 3 5/16's inches. I don't know if you would be able to do a half inch spacer without hitting the speaker grills on the door panels. Even then it might bottom out in the door.

The rear doors you shouldn't have an issue with the depth with the Kickers.

Pioneer makes an A series 6x9 that will fit as well.

The TS-A6966R has a mounting depth of 2.75. That is a three-way.

Those kickers fit. I have the same ones in my truck. They almost touch the window track in the front doors though. So I got some 1/2in spacers from amazon when I installed them.

Word of warning though, If you run these speakers without an amp you are going to have some insane distortion. The stock stereo is not nearly powerful enough to push these speakers.

Here's a thread I started about the distortion issue when I installed mine.

I have these Pioneers in my 2018 Big Horn and can confirm they drop right in and sound much, much better than the stock speakers. Immediately noticable was the improvement in bass and, of course, they sound much cleaner throughout the frequency spectrum.
