First off, thanks for having me since I just joined, looking forward to reading and posting here with new friends.
Off to the races, got a fuel gauge reading full all the time, gauge sweeps normally from E to F, so...I'm assuming the typical hot lead rubbed the insulation and is grounding, will be checking that in the upcoming days, question is how likely if i don't find an issue there is the sending unit in the tank shorted? and is that typically repairable? I know these fuel sending units are normally rebuild-able, and are as rare as hens teeth since obsolete. 20 gal tank.
And since fuel gauge sweeps normally, I'm going to assume the gauge is good as well at this point.
