Wanted to share some information for those that don't know. I installed an aftermarket stereo in my 2006 Ram 1500. During this process the radio fuse got blown, a 15A fuse. I pulled # 30 fuse which shows to be a spare fuse and continued to work on the new radio. Upon finishing I cleaned up and started to pull the truck around when the check engine light came on and the speedometer quit working. I read a lot of articles about this problem with some saying your ABS module needs replacing or your speed sensors need replacing. I finally found out that fuse # 30 is not a spare as indicated on the fuse box cover, it fuses the speedometer. Replaced fuse #30 and every thing is working now.
