Gas tank conversion 2018 1500

So I'm trying to get my buddy we go camping with to swap out his fuel tank for the bigger model. He has a 2018 1500 express crew cab 5'7" bed 4x4 5.7 hemi. He has a buddy at a dealer who told him for 2018 it is unique and can't be switched. Is there anything special preventing the switch on his truck? If not what is the correct part number for the 33 gallon tank?

I do not see a 33 gal option but did find a 32 for a 2018 1500. The part # is 68323674AC , We do not know what's involved in swapping to a larger size though.

If I gave you the vin from a truck that has the 32 gallon tank and the vin from a truck that has the 26 gallon tank could you be able to tell me if there are any differences in the fuel lines, evap lines, or anything like that? If so that vin for a 32 gallon is 1C6RR7LTXKS611843 and the vin for a 26 gallon is 1C6RR7LT9JS288139. I found a tech tip (TT9004267) that says you can't switch the tanks because they are not compatible, which makes no sense because a ton of people have done the swap. I'm just trying to figure out if the swap is feasible or not.
