I am looking for new rims and tires and have a few questions.

1. What is the stock offset of the 17" rims on a 2011 1500 4x4 SLT?

2. Are the offsets the same on older Gen 3 trucks?

3. Looking at a 17x9 rim with a -12 offset, is that offset what I want?

4. Looking at two different tires, one is a 285/70/17 at 32.8" and 11.5 wide, the other is a 33/12.5/17 at 32.8" and 12.5 wide. Will the 12.5 wide tries rub on a stock 4x4 (no lift or level) with above wheels?

5. Lastly, how far outside of the fenders will the tires be sticking out?

I have not been able to find this information on the web. If it matters my stock tires are 265/70/17

I hope someone will be able to answer some of these questions.:)

1. Not sure but I think +18 offset
2. yes
3. for a 12.5 tire yes but you can't run much wider than that on the -12
4. nope no rub with -12 offset
5. 2" about

i don't think your tires will stick out quite that far. I believe on my last truck with 20x10's with 4.79" backspacing they only stuck out about 2"
