Thanks! I have a black 2nd gen Ram 1500 that I am fixing up for my Fiance. It was my first truck at the age of 16 and there has been a lot of fun summer nights and snow days..goood memories. Unfortunately, after 5 years of hell raising I have been doing a lot of mechanical work from all the dirt roads and neglect in which I regret now when it comes to my money fixing it up..Done replaced upper and lower ball joint (a lot of fun) driver side bearing, brake calibers, drive line, oil pump, water pump now it needs new windshield, passenger side bearing, and probably a remanf. gearbox but the DIY section has a guide on how to tighten the steering box up and will give it a try after work.. I have some great before pictures and will provide the afters

I have been a long time Dodge fan and have worked on mine and a buddies who has a 2nd gen 2001 sport 4x4.. They are sometimes easy to work on only if you have ALL the right tools

Hell yea! I've still got a lot to do to mine but I'm on a low budget. ( engagement rings aren't cheap ) lol I'd love to see the pics! Gotta love a 2cd gen

I've been on my own for six months now and it is hard starting out once it comes to bills and support me and my GF habits. I've also straight piped using a cheap glass-pack from Advance and she does sound pretty nice has a nice drone tone to it going through town between buildings. She bought some pink Mosey Oak floor mats and steering cover and has a few pink deer head decals on the beast I've been driving it around to see what else needs to be worked on before I let her drive it and people wonder why this man is driving a truck with pink everywhere lol

Yea my girl keeps her lucky stuffed gator in my truck to "keep me safe" I just laugh every time I see it in my rear view lol she's got her car to pinkify, she knows my truck is the man truck! Haha

Yeah she loves my old Dodge and when it sat in the yard she wanted me to fix it up to give to her so I'm doing it now.. In MY other truck she has this pinkish blue seat belt pad her and graduation tassel and I am hoping she brings that over to her vehicle..They love to take over and mark their territory!

Okay in these pictures are signs of serious need of improvements such as a new wind shield when a storm knocked a branch into the windshield, new dash top, wax job and I also have some cosmetic improvements coming such as chrome step bars, chrome door handle covers, bed caps and chrome bed rails, new Monroe Plus+ gas shocks for front and rear and a new bearing/hub assembly for passenger side... The heater somehow doesn't produce enough heat I have replaced the thermostat when replacing water pump and I am not sure if the heater core is shot..

I also plan on getting some smoked out tail lights and new headlights and maybe a black bull bar for the front including a possible body lift and 1inch wheel spacers with some new 265 75/16 A/T. Although this is a 2wd which sucks but I doubt she will be doing any serious off-roading it will be more for looks.

Thanks - I have learned a lot from the 2nd gens from working on them. She used to be a beauty about 6 years ago when she was pretty much new to me it already had the chrome step bars, black paint shined, and drove smooth.. now its in need of work for the old work truck!
