help needed. fatbobs 2 inch spacers

I am trying to install my 2 inch spacers right now but amongst other problems I cant seperate the ball joint. Any DIY threads on this out there?

You'll need a hammer and smack the knuckle. Be careful not to smack the boot and tear it.

Yea you'll just have to beat the knuckle where it bolts with the lower control arm at the ball joint

Obviously this isn't a 2nd gen 2wd but its a quick pic to give ya an idea


Just smack it on the nuckle til it drops and make sure you got a spring compressor on the spring or it'll come shooting out
