Looking at painting my brush guard with a roll-in bedliner. Has anyone done this or seen it done?

I know I've seen people get them sprayed with bed liner, but I don't think I've ever heard of anyone using roll on bed liner. When I was researching which bed liner I wanted I remember hearing somewhere that the stuff dries like 3 seconds after it comes out of the nozzle, so I'm not too sure how well a roll on bed liner would work, but maybe perfectly?

i did this with my guard. Looks good until you get peppered with bugs. Its a PITA to get the bug guts off with a liner type material. I used herculiner on mine.

That is what I was afraid of. Other than bugs how well has it been holding up?

I would use Line-X. Worth the cost since it is durable.
