Its been a while since I posted last, so here's a list of upgrades I have done since. Added Hunter Truck Accessories running boards, Refurbished and installed a old brush guard I had, did the same with the taillight guards. Added black KC's to the brush guard. Installed black headlights with LED switchback corner light and LED switchback strips along the bottom of the headlights. Also a smoke colored total LED third brake light.

The headlight are just regular black headlights off Ebay for $75. Then I added a switchback LED strip along the bottom, which just sticks to the bottom of the headlight with 3M tape. And also added the LED switchback corner/turn signal light. Had to knock the little chrome piece out of the center of the headlight for the LED bulb to fit, but looks great with out it. If you would like the links to everything just let me know.

With those led switchback strips did you just stick them to the outside of the lens?

They are just stuck to the outside of the lens. They come in two 20" strips that you trim to the length you need. One for each side. Sorry I'm late getting back to you, don't get on here that much anymore.

What was the quality like on the headlights? How have they held up since 05?

I just got the light this year, and the truck back in August. Got to replace the OEM ones which where starting to glaze over. So far they are working out really well. Side by side to the OEM ones they look the same other than the black on the inside. Added plus is having nice clear clean lens now.

Oops my bad. I mis read your post about the tail light guards being from 05. ha My headlights are scratched and starting to glaze over as well. For that price it's worth it to give them a shot I suppose. And I get the added bonus of black which I have been wanting! Thanks!

LOL, the tail lights guards did come off my 05 I had, along with the grille guard. Good luck and your welcome!
