Hidden features?

If you have the regular non touch screen radio just go to the station you want to preset, and hold the # button you want it preset on.

If you have the touch screen version, go to the station you want preset, go to your presets tab, then press and hold the # preset you want it on and it should save it

My 2013 Laramie has a locking tail gate. Besides the key, the fob
also activates the locking mechanism. just use the lock/unlock button,
tail gate locks or unlocks in tandem with the doors.

I don't like this so I made a tutorial on how to prevent it; now that's a hidden feature!

My '13 outdoorsman has heated mirrors but I cannot figure out how to turn them on. Can anyone help with that?

They are auto but also turn on with the rear defrost like stated earlier. But the rear defrost will turn off after 10 minutes or so. Confused the heck out of me a number of times!

I wish I had the fold up tow mirrors but I only got the fold inwards heated mirrors. Apparently tow mirrors will cost me hundreds of dollars...

Haven't seen this one posted yet. The little metal tab inside the gas cap lid is for hanging the gas cap so while refueling you don't scratch the paint.

If you have the 8.4AN U-Connect system and have an auto-start you can potentially use your smart phone to start/stop/lock/unlock the vehicle. Just download the mobile app "Uconnect Access" and register it.

I like the tilt mirror in reverse feature because it also helps me back in straight so I can park exactly between the lines. The blind spot mirrors are large enough for me to still see everything else.

All the Way there Airborne, not all Ram's have that, I believe it depends on what package you get. My wife has it on her 2012 300 SRT, I personally don't like it but that's just me...

All the Way AIRBORNE!! Well I would go and check my truck but it was damaged before I took delivery. They were nice enough to give me a Sport model to drive while they attempt to fix the damage. If it isn't fixed to my liking then they will be giving me a new truck.

Hey Airborne, a buddy of mine I work with just bought a 2014 laramie (after he drove my 2013 Sport), he has the tow package that included tow mirrors, tow brake and all that so his mirrors don't turn down. My Sport doesn't have the tow mirrors or brake controller and I also don't have the backup camera (his does), so I'm wondering if it isn't a package that goes with the backup camera. My wifes mirrors (300 SRT), do go down when you put it in reverse but then she has the backup camera so that may be it...

At any rate, I love my sport and while I do want to put a backup camera on I use my mirrors when I backup and them pointing at the ground do me no good!
