When I had the dealer locate a truck for me, I was looking for one w/o the Sport Hood. But the only Maximum Steels out there had the hood. Glad I got it now.

I will even deliver it to you. I used to live in SD.
I miss the 12 rolled tacos with guacamole from Robertos. Or the fish tacos at the Tilted Stick in OB.

How do you plan to mount these? Aren't the openings in the hood slightly tilted upward? Thus making the light point up at an angle?

Still brainstorming on that.
EDIT: They are only good for a DRL no useable light to the ground. So might now worry about the angle.

Those are LED bolts.
My earlier post of the Morimotos sat too angled and it distorted the lights. So i took them off.
The LED bolts screw in.

Ahh. So what bolt did you use and what would you change? I would like to do this.

Can you take a pic with them off and closer to the hood? I would like to see what they look like just sitting there.

They are not even in this vent. I used my original vent and it was difficult drilling out the old leds.
These are a test run.
Only problem with the wiring is they are super thin.

You can find LED bolts here too. 12MM or even 5MM. I am thinking about going down in size. I just ordered a few different size to check them out.

I just had to do it after seeing it, thanks for the write up. I tied mine into my parking lights (white & brown wire).
