the guy i got the hood from said it was a pain, but he is a smaller frame guy and it mightve been too awkward/heavy for him, who knows. but my bf is a pretty big guy haha so i'm sure it wont be too hard since the hood is as light as it is and my truck is lowered hehehehehehehe
What? really? I put mine on with the help of my at the time 14 year old son.. Its not a big deal at all. The pain is lining it all up. Getting it on and off is a breeze.
A word of advice though, have the grill and all the parts you need off off it already removed before you remove the hood from the truck, it will make it that much less awkward. also, maybe a couple towels on the fenders under the back corners by the cowl. Just in case. Since I had my son helping me, who had never done anything like this before, I was a little nervous he may let the hood slide back and chip some paint. He didn't, (cuz he's a stud!) but it was easy insurance. and while lining it up, a little painters tape around all the edges can be preventative also. None of that is necasarry but its always the "what if" factor for me..
Good luck, whatever you do you'll be fine, and I can't wait to see it!!!!
