I really like these grills....what about you guys?

I was actually the first to buy this grill from rok-tek. The grills are 406 stainless, laser cut, two piece, and an optional emblem with stainless bolts and powdercoated. Im super happy with mine. after this photo he designed a stainless plate to go behind the emblem to help it stand out. I would buy it over again.

the way it installs is you take your stock grill and cut the cross hairs out leaving 1in nubs on all four sides. You then drill holes(I think it was 1/2in) in each nub that correspond with the bolts in the grill.

super easy to clean as well.

id ask him if you could just buy the solid piece yourself and then get it powdercoated or paint it yourself.

last I talked to him (a while ago) that was an option.

last I talked to him he was working on the 1500 4G trucks. But we had talked a lot about the gen2 rams. He only does this as I side project to his normal job so its a slow process. I havent talked to him in a long time but if you dont get any response let me know and I can try and help.

Just checked out his web site and it hasent changed in a good while. :dunno:

If this really is a "custom" laser cut then that should only be some programmig changes to make smaller mesh. Someone might want to ask him if he can change up the laser path.

I like the size of the holes. I have had no issues to date. Almost a year old now.
