Question: does your truck lean towards the drivers side. I’ve noticed after lowering the gap between tire and bed on the passenger side is bigger than the drivers side. Weird
Thanks.... I was thinking of doing the same thing....
Did you cut the front as well?
Hemi450hp, is there any way you can throw a 28 drag radial or track wheels on it with the 5/7 drop? I wanna see how it looks track ready!
They all do that because the driver side of the truck is heavier...gas tank, battery, brake booster, steering assembly, etc...
What I did to correct this is cut more off the passenger side coils than I did the driver side, so my truck sits level on both sides.
Find a scale Matt, the drivers side isn't really any heavier then the pass side ,you're forgetting the engine and tranny are offset to the pass side of the truck a few inches, which compensates for the tank/booster etc.,being on the drivers side
Well shucks! I guess I'll have to wait! If you don't mind let us know what you do for the brake conversion. It seems like that opens a lot of doors for wheels and tires
My 2015 has the same lean at stock height, lowered, and now lifted...each setup was about 3/4" higher on the passenger side than the driver side. Only explanation for that is added weight on the drivers side.
Its not just the Ram that leans to the driver's side. Its ALL trucks pretty much. Every truck that I have had (Ram & GM) leans to the driver's side even w/ an empty tank. Stock height, lowered & lifted.
I guess I've never noticed it until now
Don't you hate when you never notice things then read about them and then you constantly see it....
