Looks awesome! Need some night pics of how well it works. I live in the sticks so I'm always driving back roads at night and need as much light as possible. My eye sight isnt what it used to be.

was inspired by the above posts, decided to install a 32' Curved Light Bar from Rough County. Pictures of install...:happy107:

I'm liking this. Any pics from the front of the entire front end? Kinda want an overall view. I've got too much time/effort into getting rid of the chrome and such that I didn't want to mount a big chrome looking light bar.

No offense to anyone but the 42" curved bar looks, well, I cringe every time I see one on a Ram.

Has anyone used any foam tape or anything like that between bumper and light bar to prevent any rubbing from vibration that could damage bumper?

I'm planning to put a 42" curved bar in but I just need help with the bracket. What material did you guys use? How long did you cut them? And the size of the holes.

2012 Express.
I've been lurking, decided to join and post my own pic. This is the 42"/45" Cree light bar that I picked up from eBay. I bought a 40 Amp switch and installed it with a 35 amp fuse running directly off the battery. These light bars so awesome, I love how freaking bright they are, especially with the 2012 headlights.

I'm still trying to decide if I should plastidip the grill surround to black out the mounting tabs or just cut out 90% of the original grill. I used 1/4" 1.5" aluminum straps, bent to fit and used the lower bumper mounting bolts. The 42" light bar fits nicely on the 2012s and fills up the lower grill opening without touching the white paint of the bumper cover. Don't forget to mask the whole area around the lower grill to protect your paint while installing.
Sick!!!

Thanks....it is a rough country single row curved 30"
I got about 4"-5" pieces of flat aluminum drilled holes in each end, and mounted to bumper supports, cut out plastic surround. It fits in so nice there. Look a page back for the yellow truck same light bar had a few install pics posted.

Did you first cut out the bumper bezel before the install.

You guys drilled through the Clutch Master Cyl. plate on the firewall to run your switches into the cab?
