Interchangeable Rears for 2000 Ram? (Help!)

I have a 2000 Laramie 1500 with the 5.9 Magnum in it.
I need to replace my rear and am trying to find out what years are interchangeable. I did some research but didn't find anything conclusive enough. I know Dodge started with the disc brakes in 2001 so it would have to be before that.

Moreover, does anyone know if the rear in this Ram Van would work?

It is also a 2000, the guy just doesn't know enough to tell me the gear ratio or anything else for that matter.

If I can interchange the rear on this van with my truck that would be ideal.
Help is really appreciated!

It probably would.....however, it might have 3 inch wide leaf springs being on a van

Go to the local upullit and get one from the same van 99+

In the 1/2 tons V6 vans had the 8.25 and v8s had the 9.25 I believe. Not sure if the width between the springs are the same so no clue if bolt in. 1500 rear axles are really common so you shouldn't have a problem finding them anyway.

I found mine on craigslist in a day for $200, and mines a 9.75.guy had it so long that his post was auto-deleted by the site, good thing I had his number saved.
