So I think my AC compressor just crapped out today. And until I can get around to fix, I would like to throw on a short bypass belt.
I have found a bit of info on the 2nd Gen Rams, for adding about a 90" belt to bypass AC.
I haven't been able to find any info on the 3Gens, if it would be similar in size, if there are any issues in the bypass. I am aware that I can get a bypass pulley, but again, I'm looking for a quicker short term solution, until I can be able to work on it.
I am going to try and measure the track length (bypassed) tomorrow.
So has anyone here ran an AC belt bypass for the 3 Gen, 5.7?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
