Love your 5th gen @Dinky! If (when) I decide to upgrade I'll likely get nearly the identical truck just adding RamBox since mine have made me never want a truck without them now.

I fell in love when they came out the night edition! I still think 4th gen body style is my favorite. They need to make ram boxes for a 8ft bed. I would of loved to have them but need a 8ft bed for work.

I don't "need" an 8' bed. But a 6'4" bed would suit me a lot better than my 5'7" bed. My trials bike barely fits corner to corner with the tail gate shut. Most days I'm lazy and just throw the hitch rack in that way I don't have to take the tonneau cover off. LOL

I do miss my 2014 1500 with the 6'4" bed made parking easy lol. I find my self actually needing a bigger bed most days. Most of our material is 10ft long so 8ft bed is needed. When we work out of town we definitely have the trucks loaded own and smaller beds just don't work out. I would not mind having a 1500 again for outdoor stuff and around town. With the new motorcycle hitch racks don't think I would load in the bed either lol.

Right now the staff is "behind schedule" from repeating ties on the voting. HealthyRX and I keep going back and forth on a tie this time it looks like.
