Picked up my 2017 1500 sport night edition from carvana this week with 15k miles
- crew cab
- 6.4 foot bed
- 3.92 axle ratio
- 4x4
- leather interior
- black projector headlights

I have some plans for her to make it more fun for me to drive. This will be my daily driver and as of right now I need to be able to fit in 7' parking garages which limits what I am able to do as far as lifting.
Currently my plans are:
- 35x12.5 r17 toyo or nitto r/t
- 17x9 wheels with -12mm offset
- bilstein 5100 all around with eibach springs in all 4 corners
- zone UCAs
- wulf 1/2" suspension spacers for the lean
- carli panhard drop bracket
- suspension maxx front sway bar links
- possibly a zone 1.5" body lift but Ill see how I like just the suspension lift first

Did the folding rear seat mod by cutting the tabs that hold the seat up rather than putting washers underneath the seat.
I went this route because I want to use my fold flat floor and I was worried that putting washers under the seat would make it not sit right.
As you can see from the second pic, when the seat back is up and the seat is down, there is still plenty of metal catching on the hook at the back of the cab so the seat won’t flip forward on a passenger

Following! I like what you have planned with the 17's along with the level and body lift. Should be a good look!

Dropped Wanda off today to have the Eibach pro lift installed. Snap rings at 2nd slot, RC 1/2" top spacers, new KYB top hats and Zone UCAs. Holding off on the body lift for now to see how I like the truck with just the eibach on it.
Ordered 315/70r17 cooper S/t maxx and procomp 32 bandido wheels in 17x9 with -6mm offset today and hopefully they will be delivered and installed by saturday.
Ill add pics when I pick the truck up!

This is a huge compliment coming from you guys! I’ve been looking at all your posts and all the info you guys have shared to get my ideas together for this truck!

Here is the truck with the eibach pro kit installed and 2nd ring, RC 1/2" top plate spacer and zone UCAs on stock 20s still.
Front before height: ~36"
Rear before height: ~40"
Front After height: ~ 39.5"
Rear after height: ~41.5"
Both sets of measurements at 1/2 tank gas

Havent driven too much yet but the ride seems a lot better but I can definitely feel a little bit more sway since i havent added the longer extensions yet.
Right now it sits just about as tall as a stock new generation f250.

Lift is finally "done"
- Eibach pro truck lift with rings at 2nd slot
- RC 1/2" top plate spacers in the front
- Zone UCAs
- 315/70r17 cooper discoverer st maxx
- 17x9 procomp 32 wheels with -6mm offset
- lug nuts and 77.8 to 108 mm hub centric rings

I have a zone 1.5" body lift I may still be installing at some point when I can get a long weekend I dont need to drive since this is my only vehicle

After the lift was installed I was on stock tires for about a week and fender measurements on stock tires were ~36/40 inches F/R before and 39.5/41.5 F/R after. Havent measured with new tires on yet

Note- front wheel is slightly turned from backing in so it may look "off" in the pics

Mods I still want to do (in no particular order)

Suspension/Driving:
- Zone 1.5" BL (just need to install)
- Boost Auto GM style tow mirrors (on the way)
- suspension max front sway bar end links
- hellwig rear sway bar and extended end links (I had hellwig on my 2003 F250 6.0 with a 4" lift and I absolutely loved them)
- Powerstop z36 brakes
- Carli panhard drop bracket
- Core rear control arms - Tier 4

Engine (Reliability over performance)
- Headers at some point
- JSCAN
- Extend diff/Tcase/transmission breathers
- 180* Tstat
- Electronic Fan
-

Misc:
- Tonneau cover (Idk if I want tri fold, soft rollup or hard rollup yet)
- LED offroad lighting (thinking ditch lights and light bar)
- LED backup lights
- Sound proofing/ sound deadening

Down the road, after I finish school and buy a second vehicle to use as a DD:
- bed rack with a tent for weekend trips
- Front and rear bumpers
- Decked system
- upgrade to coilovers + 4 or 6 inch lift
- 4.xx gears with 37s (front diff swap and all that fun stuff)

I had a quad fold from bakflip. Fibermax. I’ll never buy the fibermax again. 3years and trashed. Should have bought the mx4 from them instead which is aluminum. Have a hard roll up now which I actually like better because when all the way open I can still see out my rear window. Nice thing about the bakflip was the bakbox that I bought for it. I was going to buy another bakflip cover so I could use the bakbox with the new cover but liked the style of the truxedo hard roll up over the bakflip hard roll up because it velcros on the sides instead of just a rubber gasket.

Would you say that the hard rollup cover is worth the $500-700 more than a soft roll up cover?

I would say it depends on your needs. I bought the hard roll up for extra protection. I tend to keep tools and other valuables in the bed so for me it was worth it. If you are just tossing stuff in the bed for a quick trip and need it to stay dry and don’t leave stuff in the bed it may not be as worth it.

Headed up to my fathers farm today to start installing the 1.5" body lift while I have some free time during this rotation I'm on for school.
Got some updated measurements of the truck as well.
- Front fender after lift and tires before body lift: 40.5"
- Rear fender after lift and tires before body lift: 41.5"
- Cab height to the top of the shark fin before body lift: 80"

Got some more pics without 4 wheels/tires in the bed of the truck as well!

And next to my brothers 2007 F250 6.0 powerstroke leveled with readylift spring spacer + fox shocks all around and 35x12.5 R20 ridge grapplers on -18mm wheels

Body lift is installed! I just have to get the rear bumper and spare tire winch relocated. Ill do that today or tomorrow. Ill be flush mounting some rigid lights into the rear bumper while I have it off the truck!
Only casualty was the front left parking sensor popped out, so I just have to get that glued back in.
Truck is sitting 81.5" to the top of the shark fin now. My dog is a 60 pound plott hound for a size reference
Also have to aim the headlights down a touch now probably.
..
Man oh man were zone's instructions lacking. And getting the body mounts for the bed and bed support blocks where a huge PITA

Got the body lift 100% on and double checked everything. I ended up not actually relocating the spare tire or rear bumper.. After 2 step bits and 3 drill bits for one side of the bumper bracket on the frame I gave up and decided the bumper is staying put..LOL
I don't mind the bumper gap too much, and I think that those without an interest in trucks or vehice modifications wont even notice it
Aimed headlights down a touch, I just kinda eyeballed it.
Installed some rigid D series floodlights flush in the rear bumper while it was off. Spliced into the backup wire on the trailer hitch wiring harness for signal
Used some spare foam and a duvet cover to make a dog bed for the 60% side of the back seat so the cup holder isnt trying to break his ankles all the time.
IMG_6190.jpgIMG_6197.jpgIMG_6192.jpg
Rigid D series flush mounted. Not my prettiest work but Itll do until I cough up the $$$ for bumpers

Left over foam from my dad redoing the outdoor seat cushions
IMG_6201.jpg
Diesel on his new bed on the 60% side of the back seat

Got a family photo this morning
Left to right: Diesel (plott hound), Beretta 686 onyx pro, 7.62 AR (it runs perfectly), 5.56 AR with 14.5 P&W to 16", 556 pistol with 7.5" barrel (the most fun)
