Hey all.
Engine off, lights off, key out. Open door and warning chime sounds and door aiar lit.
Close door, chime and lights go out. OCCASIONALLY diddling the cyl with the key or tapping thy shroud will shut it off. Worried about battery drain off its happening long term after i leave truck. It's a second vehicle and gets driven maybe once a week.
Replaced ign switch and lock cylinder because old anyway with no joy.
Can someone tell me what actually tells the switch the key is still inserted? What's giving the bcm the idea that's is still inserted? The SKIM module perhaps?
