Large Recall for Cruise Control

Got my notice via email yesterday. Taking it in on Tuesday for that and to have them check my TPMS. Low tire light has been on since Friday, and no matter how I adjust the pressure it will not reset. Hoping its not an issue with my Fuel wheels, small crack like some have reported.

I'm here at the dealership and getting the U61 recall done. We are at hour 3. They told me that my 2015 RAM 1500 isn't eligible for the U05 update even though I have a dial shifter and 32 gallon fuel tank. It isn't listed as a campaign for my vehicle on the website.

Wife's 2016 Charger for this same recall took 45 minutes from arrival at dealer to driving out of dealer. I suppose actual time vehicle was worked on was 15 minutes or less.

My 2018 2500 CC SLT had the U61 recall done 2 weeks ago. It does not look like they changed or added the forced park coding. I can start my truck from outside the vehicle and back up with door open. (launch ramp need)

I just figured out how mine worked, it won't go into auto park unless foot is off brake pedal/ stoplights out.

I had just got mine this past week. When I was delivering to the ram dealer I ask the parts guy how long it would take to get in their shop. He said when you wanna bring it in? I said how bout 1st thing Saturday morning, he made a call and said see ya then. Hell, the dealer where I bought it would take 2 or 3 weeks.

Anybody having issues with the U05 recall not allowing you to shift out of park after the vehicle "auto parks"?

Pulling out of the in-laws' driveway this morning(decently high grade/slope), I shifted from R to D, went to gas to pull away from oncoming traffic and the car kept flashing "Park Assist Mode Turn Dial to Park" on the dashboard and I was stuck. I moved in/out of park, no change. Turned the truck off/on, no change. I opened the door and slammed it shut and was then able to shift out of park.

I haven't had any issues with mine. The only thing I can think of is did you put you're foot on brake pedal before trying to reset it shift out of park? The way mine operates is I can have door open, seatbelt off and nothing happens untill I take my foot off the brake peddle. Once I take my foot off the brake pedal it will go into auto park. Put foot back on brake pedal and turn knob to park, then back to drive or reverse and everything fine again.

Apparently there is a recall on the tailgate, at least for 2016s.

There is a stop tab that breaks that could let your tailgate open at any time. Parts not yet available.

I have the recall for my 2015. Called the dealer and they cant see me until Sept. 14!

Yep, OP, that's the NHTSA designation; the FCA designator is U74 and there are a few threads on this already...BTW, my SA at Grapevine (Texas) CDJ says we owners will know when the parts arrive before she will, so that's good! Then it'll just be a matter of getting an appointment and a loaner...ugh.

Recall notices are going out in September.
There is an easy fix if you can do without the lock/unlocking tailgate. Just disconnect the actuator. There is a video on Youtube about it. Or, you can just replace the part yourself.

^^^Mine too but I buckle the belt up behind me just to insure it won't auto park.
