Well, either I have done a poor job searching or just plain missed it but anyone go with a beefier street tire on the stock 20 inch rims with no other modifications to make them fit? I could have sworn that I saw someone with 305's but just could not locate the thread. I want a more aggressive look as the 275's are a little whimpy but not interested in new rims.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Just be careful as the wheels on our trucks are 8 inches wide I believe.

I believe you are correct, I think 305 would be the absolute largest but not sure if they may rub the front sway bar when locked right or left......

Not opposed to leveling but not going to lift. I want a sport truck enhancement for on road. There is plenty of vertical clearance for what I am wanting to do, just want a wider and little bit taller tire. I saw someone that used the SRT-10 wheels and 305's but cannot find the thread.

I'd suggest a 305/50-20 or 295/50-20 tire and lower the rear to level the truck out.

Yea, it seems I am finding 295 seems most reasonable on the stock 20's. I have a 32 gallon tank with a small load towing, I am already a hair lower in the back than in the front when fully loaded. I will look for a good set of 295's as I do not need anything but a highway tread. I have a Jeep plus race ATV's so not interested in anything aggressive tread wise with the Ram as it does not see anything but road and no desire for off road with it.

Thanks for all the responses.
