Leaking steel brake line

    you shouldn't need to bleed the master cylinder unless you run it dry so make sure to top it up or check it before starting. if you hook up the line to the abs thing first the line might bleed itself by the time you go to hook up the other end. you can sometimes get away with bleeding it like that but if it don't work you would then just have to bleed it at the caliper

    Any tips for bending brake lines? Never done it before. Not sure what I should or shouldn't do. Any advice would be great.

    a cheap tubing bender works good for tight turns if you need to bend any but for the most part you should be able to bend light bends by hand.

    I bled all my old fluid out it was trash I just used a like a foot of clear tube that fits over the nipped and in to a jug so it can't suck air back in

    I had a leak under the cab and many other questionable lines. I took the easy way out and went pre bent from sstubes. $200 did the whole truck, but they break it up into 3 or 4 sections depending on what you want to work on.

    Edit, didnt see second page you got er done. Lol
