Had to shift weight to the rear, but it towes well. Will be adding a Helliwig sway bar for just a little more control.Nice trailer. What brand and model is it?
Congrats, of course we want to see pics.Nothing at the moment but this coming Saturday we are picking up a new/leftover 2020 forest river 29vbud.
Thanks. I'll post some as soon as I get it home. Saturday can't come soon enough. I think our 3 year old is more excited then the wife and I since now the "white Dodge will have a trailer to pull" lolCongrats, of course we want to see pics.
Just looked at one of those yesterday, if you dont mind me asking how did the truck pull it? thanks for your time
Its 36 feet total. Its a forest river salem 29vbud which I always thought the 29 would mean the "body" was 29' but the body is actually around 32' from bottom outside corner to bottom outside corner. Thanks for the information!Beautiful rig. How's long is that? For a wd hitch I use an Equalizer hitch. For that size I'd recommend the 12k/1.2k hitch. I use the 10k/1k and I'm on the edge because of my tongue weight. I may upgrade to the 12k myself because of that.
Model numbers don’t always mean the size of the travel trailer. My model number starts with 26xxx but it’s actually 27 feet. Its 36 feet total. Currently awaiting our new Sure Trac dump. We went back and forth so much on sizes but settled on a 6x12 with the telescopic lift. Our dealer somehow gets Sure Trac to build the 6 foot trailers with telescopic lifts.
My dad has a F-150 so we stuck with something his truck can handle easily as well. Cant wait to get it and put it to work!
