This is straight from RC website, 2.5 leveling kit recommends 33's... I think 35's would fit without the kit, but that's why I asked

One other question, with the spacers do we need longer shocks? Or will the factory ones fit the extra up travel?

That's gotta be a mistake on their part. My stock tires are nearly 34s. Dunno what they're thinking.

The front bilstein are like $75 each. Worth it to me over spacers. Honestly doing all 4 shocks was the best money I've spent on this truck. The ride is 100x better.

I am a huge fan of the Bilstein 5100 series shocks for any truck! There really is not much of comparison for the money.

Built a 2014 Ram 2500 2 weeks ago with new coils and Bilstein 5100's all the way around and it worked awesome.

I used a 2.5" leveling coil from excel suspension with extended length Bilstein 5100 series on this particular truck.

I have also used maxtrac coil spacers with Bilstein 5100 shocks and they worked well also.

But the leveling coil was much better performance wise than the spacer.

Did you keep the stock spring rate?

The spacers of course keep the stock spring rate.

I am not sure about the leveling coils, as I dont have the ability to test them stock vs. lifted to check in/lbs.

I do understand however that most providers of lifted / leveling coils go up a minimum percentage over stock rates in order to support the higher center of gravity and to improve handling. Not to mention, most of my customers want that when upgrading to a lifted coil along with a better shock that can handle it all, which we have found to work well with the Bilstein 5100, and several other premium shocks.

I feel the front is sprung pretty well stock and was just making sure those longer ones weren't softer.

I'm happy with the spacer for my application. I feel we have enough travel with the bilstein. That being said I'm not rock crawling with this thing.

Alright so one more question... going from stock to 35 12.5 with 4.10 axle gears and the 6.4 hemi, how much power am I going to lose?

Will it be like going from a 4.10 to a 3.73?
Or more drastic like 4.10 to 3.55?

I like drag racing people I work with, can't go from champ to chump, lol

I think it will be fine. Probably feel more like a 3:73
I plan on doing the same thing when my stock tires wear out!

33.5" is the stock tire size so going up a little over an inch wont hurt you much..if i did my math correctly your effective axle ratio would be 3.92 so right between the two options

Im gonna get some oem flares so that with 35×12.5s on factory 20s the tires bulge ever so slightly past them

Where do you get the OEM flares. I'd like the Bushwacker ones but not for over $400
