Congrats on the birth of your second child. Hope all is well and that your search for a crew cab turns up a winner.

Looking at custom offsets online a lot of trucks with same size wheels with same offset etc and same size tires have different stances. Some still stick out further than others. Then I read where some lift kits force the front tires out more than others. The Superlift I'm getting says it maintains the original stance. Doesn't widen the front track. Also have seen where some have had to add spacers to the rears because of this. I was told by the shop that the 20x10 -18 wheels I'm getting should keep the edge of the tire within an inch of the flare which is exactly what I want. Will know soon enough. Can't wait to add pics to the "show us your lifted 4th gen" thread.

That's why I mentioned it before. I have rcx. Mine did push fronts out a little more. Custom offset is a great site to window shop

so you want the tire to stick out from the fender flare but no more than an inch?

I think they look great sticking out a bit. Especially on lifted trucks. However it's no fun keeping the truck clean. Throw **** all over sides of the truck.

I would like the outer edge of the tire to be anywhere from flush with the outer edge of the flare to out to an inch beyond the outer edge of the flare. Not tucked though.

I'd really like the stance on Litenyaup's truck. Would be extremely happy if my tires stuck out that far from the fender flares.

Thank you! I hope so too!

...I know I wasn't of much help with my pics, as I dont know what my offset on my wheels are, they do stick out a little bit i would say 3/4 of inch maybe a little more in front! I love how they look but they are a pain if you like keeping your truck clean lol...sticking out flings anything and everything all over the front doors of my truck! I think it looks better dirty, but note that it is impossible to keep clean if you like the more aggressive look of them hanging outside your wells/flares :happy107:

My 6" RCX lift def pushes the front tires out a bit more! ...I think its perfect to be honest, its maybe 3/4-1" outside the flares...although as others have mentioned, its impossible to keep your truck clean like that! lol which is ok to me because it looks better dirty...but my front tires fling anything and everything all over my front doors

929rob the 295/65r20 is about 11.6" wide. Could you take a pic from straight ahead so i could see how the tires line up with the flares? If yours sit flush with the outer edge of the flares then a 35x12.5 on a 20x9 with 0 offset should be what i'm looking for. I'd like to sit flush with outside of flares or maybe up to an inch beyond them. Nothing more aggressive than that. Your truck is clean looking. Looks good.

Thanks for compliment. Sorry it took me so long to reply.

Silent425 what size rims are those? Would mudflaps make a difference on the amount of stuff flung onto the doors from the tires?

Just 20's ...and it probably would, but I think it would look a little goofy! Just my opinion though! Like I said I don't mind it much too! I think a big aggressive looking truck looks better dirty! :peace:

But if you are extremely **** about any dirt being on your truck I would recommend keeping your wheels/tires tucked, Im sorry i dont have my offset, I wish I could help make your decision easier!

Went and picked up my wheels/tires. 35s on 20x10 -18 offset rims are a lot bigger than i imagined. The lift won't be installed until Monday-Tuesday but we put a mounted wheel on tbe truck to see how far it'd stick out from the flares. I like the stance.

Hopefully the lift is as advertised and won't push the front wheels out like some do.

Don't hate on the 2wd. Factory rims on a MaxTrac 7" front, 4.5" rear suspension lift. Nitto 37x12.5x20 Terra Grappler G2. No rubbing. Need a 1.5" wheel spacer in the rear to match the flare in the front from the new knuckles.
