My headlight on my 2015 RAM 1500 went out. When I went online to seek a replacement I found choices ranging from $9.99 to $99.99. What is the correct replacement light bulb that is as close to the original that came with the truck? Thanks.

If your truck has the reflector headlight (Quad) the low beam is an H11, the high beam is 9005.
If your truck has Projector style headlights, the low beam is 9012, the high beam bulb is 9005.
For either headlight type, a standard or Long Life halogen bulb is what was installed at the factory.

Thank you! I think I have projector headlights but I'm not certain. I'm attaching a few images. Can you verify which type I have from the images? Thanks again!

(Also, there is moisture inside the headlight (this is not the headlight bulb that went out, that's the other side). This is a replacement headlight after an accident and I'm waiting on the bodyshop to fix the issue)IMG_2607.JPG

Yes those are Projector headlights.
It maybe best to pull the headlight to check which pull the headlight to verify which low beam bulb is in the housing. Starting with the '16 model year the projectors started using 9005 in both the Low and High beams.
Although it is possible to use the 9005 in place of the 9012 bulb, just Google "9012 to 9005 conversion" The 9005 are actually a brighter bulb.

Your best bet is to contact headlight Revoulation ang get their HTR lighting 35 watt 5000K HID kit for your protector headlights.
This is a completely plug and play kit. I have then in my Ram and Grand Cherokee. The projectors will be much brighter with HID,s than and type of halogen or led buld.
