This will be a long shot but does anyone tow with the set up I am about to use? I have a 2020 Ram 2500 4x4 crew cab big horn gasser that I will be towing a new to me 2018 Jayco Eagle 322RLOK. I want to use a Hensly hitch but trying to decide on what drop I need. Both truck and camper are not with me so I cant measure them but heading to look at a used Hensly this afternoon. Can anyone help me out with either hitch and camper coupling measurements or if your using this set up what drop hitch are you using? Thanks

Get one of these and you won't need to measure beforehand.

I have a 2021 2500 bighorn CC ( with the Cummins) and the top of my ball is 26 1/2 inches from the ground. Im pulling a 30 ft Grand Design TT with an equalizer E4 hitch.

With that setup I wouldn't buy a Hensly. Not worth the added expense. The trailer just isn't heavy enough behind that truck to warrant it.

No issues running 65mph on my old Power Wagon, and 65+ (I don't usually go over 65 unless I NEED to) with the current truck in my sig, with a setup similar to the below:

WDH + stand-alone sway control

Takes about 5 minutes to hitch up if you aren't in a hurry, I can be off a little unlike some of those high-dollar hitches where you have to be dead-on, and allows me to adjust how much sway control I actually need on the fly.

Might want to consider the Andersen WDH. I tow a 31' travel trailer with one. It's quiet, very easy to set up, quick to hook up and remove, great sway control.

I've also seen good things about the new Eaz-Lift TR3.

I have the 4" drop Anderson and it is plenty for my PW and a toy hauler with a similar tongue weight. It is adjustable to a few positions.
