I bought new tires that have a 35 psi max pressure. I'm wanting to run them about 30 psi for everyday driving but my low tire indicator keeps goin off. Is there a way to adjust it to go off at different a pressure without a tuner?

I'm pretty sure they can't be changed at all.

If they can, this will be the first I've ever heard of it.

You'll have to have a tuner to fix this.

It's called "Tire Pressure Threshold Adjustment".

My I ask what tires you bought that are rated at such a low max pressure? It just seems awful low for a truck tire.

are you sure your reading max pressure as 35 psi and not that the max load capacity is achieved at 35 psi?

The tire said don't exceed 40 psi to seat beads. And max load is achieved at 35 psi. No other info pressure limits on the tire

Bullydog is the only tuner I know of that can change it on these trucks.

Diablosport is where I got the name of the adjustment. From the Adjustable Parameters of the Trinity, and Intune. My Intune has it for my 2005.

For 2005 maybe. I called and asked them if they we're going to come out for it for 2014 and they said no.

Maybe it was just the 2500's that aren't going to be supported by that then. I specifically asked him about the 2500 with the 6.4 if they were going to allow adjustments to the tpms and he said they looked into it but it isn't something they were going to work on. I would prefer Diablosport over bullydog but when they told me that I figured there was no hope.

So did I somehow buy the wrong tires? Is 35 psi not the actual max psi? Should I just run them at 36 or 37 psi so the alarm won't go off or just deal with it till I can afford a tuner

If you cannot run the tires at the recommend pressures for the truck then yes you bought the wrong tires.

I ran my Grapplers at 36psi. without problems. I hope you didn't buy those for the long haul, though. Cause they won't last very long. Maybe 30k if you rotate very frequently.

I had mine for 26k, and rotated them every oil change. No burn outs, or off roading. They started getting lumpy around 20k.

Ok, I double checked (finally found the changeable parameters tab) for 2014 they allow the 1500's to change the tpms but not the 2500's. So the people who actually would want to change it can't.
