im well versed in the 1 ton scene, I have had several 4th gen 3500’s with cummins motors. I just bought a 14 RCSB Hemi 2wd. I don’t want to lose any reliability or drive ability BUT I want to bring the rear end down. What would the best option be to reverse level this Truck? I’ve searched through a bunch of the threads however there’s a bunch of contradicting options. I want a one and done solution and don’t want to nickel and dime my way to the cost of a full bore drop kit chasing issues.

That's kind of a loaded question,as what you consider 1 and done, might not be the same as what somebody else considers 1 and done.Get ready for a few different opinions, lol

I went with the INEZ drop lowering kit 4/6...couldn't be happier..and it rides better than stock now. No stiffness at all. Comfortable. 96415357bf0b30f04732084efca2c966.jpged3ee6b101a59dcf2489b43496bde3b7.jpg

either cut 1.5 coils off of the rear springs or buy some 2" drop springs.

Any brand spring better to go with then another? Also would you say to replace the shocks or leave the factory ones in place?

Stock shocks are okay on a 2" drop. Once you take a look at where the top mounts are on the rear shocks,it'll help make up your mind to keep the stock shocks in place, lol. The top mount on the rear shocks is a ***** to get at on these trucks, lol

I just picked up this 14 last week also, im guessing it has a 2/4 drop. Cant tell what springs though. It rides better than the r/t i test drove. What part of Pa are you from, Lancaster here.20180209_112508.jpg 20180209_112538.jpg

Isnt that to center axle left to right, like a track bar does up front? I need the illicit brackets for the control arms though, i get the 75mph shuffle on bridge transitions....lol

no im talking about the bar that keeps the axel centered from left to right, i know with a 2" drop it pushed my axel about 1/2" towards one side, it drives my OCD crazy, that pic i quoted it looked like it was sucked in a good amount
Haha, i hear ya! I just looked when i took those pics, theres a little difference. Passenger side looks in just a touch. Id have to take measurements on level ground. Front drivers nose is downhill and passenger rear is uphill right now as it sits.

mcgaughy's makes a 2" drop spring. moes performance sells them. stock shock will be ok but it is possible they could fall out on a big bump but not likely
