Ok we all know the 5100 height adjustable can raise the front of your ram but I want to drop it an inch or so in the front...how hard is it to machine a lower grove in the shock body identical like the upper groves? Any foreseeable downside to this and has anyone actually done it??
My reasoning behind this is to maintain suspension travel and the nice comfy ride but my wife has a hard time climbing in and I don't really like running boards/side steps. I figure if I can improve the center of gravity and handling due to higher quality shocks and make her happy it's a win win.
I'd cut my rear coils 2"-3" or buy drop springs to level it out.
