Looking for new lug nuts for my 06 1500. Have the stock 17's chrome plated. I heard Gorilla is one of the better brands out there. Are these what I'm looking for? Amazon says it fits my truck, but then again that's Amazon saying so. They want my money...

I was looking at new lugs for my truck too.. the dealer said the Mopar ones are very expensive and I have not had much luck with chrome ones so I think I'm going with black ones. The chrome ones that came with my BlackRock rims are crap, chrome peeled. The stock ones still shine but leave the stud exposed. So McGard you say Harley Harrold, I'll check them out ... thanks

Where'd you order your blackrock rims? I'm thinking about the same. Probably type 8.

I ordered them through my dealer, he got them from western Canada, I got the type D series 942 steel rims.. They cost me 265 each(Canadian) taxes, hub centers and lug nuts included but the lug nuts are cheep. I like steel cause they do better in winter than mags do.

Ouch. I love steel rims too. Can't beat a good 17". The more sidewall the better! My overall goal is minimal lift with 37's. I know people say only 6" lift will fit 37s, but we'll see ;)

From their website I think, or possibly off eBay. They're easy to find and SO much better than the stockers.

Thanks man! Are they universal? What I mean is, I've seen listings for the lug nuts for aluminum rims for the Rams, but no mention of lugs for the steel rims that I have. I think they're all the same, but just wanted to make sure.
Thanks again!

If there's a difference they list it. My Ram ones were listed "for stock rims". The ones for the Charger were listed by factory aluminum or factory steel police wheels.

I have black Gorilla lugs on my 2500. I went down to the local Discount Tire and they had them in stock.

Discount also installed my new wheel/tires with the gorilla lugs. Store manager recommended them.
