May have found my Hemi Donor !

I might have found my Hemi Donor...

However it is a 2 wheeler, and a short bed.

My question is : Is the length of the driveshaft different on a 4.7L than for a 5.7?

I know the transmission is the same aside from the output shaft which goes directly into the Xcase, but as such I would assume the engine back is in the same position in both cases and that the shafts are the same length.

I dont understand the problem. You have a 545rfe trans and you want to put a hemi infront of it. You only need to buy the motor.
As far as i know a 2wd driveshaft will not fit any 4wd truck. But when the only difference is the motor yes the driveshafts are identical.

Technically he has the 45RFE transmission....

Ok so if he wants a hemi he absolutely needs a newer trans?

I feel like a hemi would destroy a 45rfe..unless DD is just mouthing off then you should be fine
