I agree. There is obviously something wrong with these and for the price that these go for it’s pretty ridiculous to just be told to polish them upI got mine in August or September and they have quickly turned gold. I contacted Matt shortly afterwards and he said to get some chrome polish and try that. They got so bad I took them off last week so I could polish them good. I did, and they are now a very pretty gold color, but not what I want for my truck. I sent him another e-mail and he never responded. That's a lot of money for a product that has some kind of defect in the material. There has been numerous people on here that have bought these and never had problems. I have bought several items from Moes in the past but I would not recommend them anymore.
$235 for 5" tips and they are rusting???
Thats insanely expensive for a 5" tip. I would be livid!
You can buy polished stainless tips that will never rust for $36 shipped!!!

Sorry, but T 304 isn't a very high quality stainless steel and it will rust.
T304 will hold up a lot better than the Moes that are rusting after 1 year. Obviously they are not triple chrome plated.
Plus you save $199. Thats the crazy part.
There has to be T316 stainless tips made by someone.
Is anyone going to give Matt a chance to respond before this gets out of hand. He's been a vendor on this site for years and NOT ONCE have I ever heard that he screw over anyone! A couple people have had problems but I think most of us that have those same tips have not.
Jay
I can't speak for Matt nor will I try to. I don't know the circumstances surrounding your e-mail, I do however know Matt well enough that I believe he would never sell anything to us that he knows is defective. I think, given the chance he will work with you to straighten the problem out. I not leading anyone's parade, I just think he should have a chance to respond before people make judgements about one of our long time preferred vendors.
