Anyone installed the Mopar window deflectors? Part 82213487AC

I considered other brands but with these being Mopar and as stupid as it sounds I’d have the dealer install because if I DID ever have leaking or damage to my window due to them, it’s a Mopar part and I think that because it’s a Mopar part and dealer installed then they’d replace or fix whatever damage is caused to the track or seal or motor of the window.

Are these in-channel? I’d assume so, can’t tell but it has a bunch of clips. Don’t want stick-on and in-channel does seem to have it’s downsides as mentioned above.

Curious if anyone’s ever used this part before.

From what I see they definitely are not in channel. Looks like they use clips to hold it in place

Interesting. So not tape-on (GOOD) and seem to avoid in-channel because they know that causes issues down the line. Think I might be sold. Just curious if anyone’s had them on this forum.

Seems to be hit or miss but I have read many cases of it effecting then window negatively if they’re removed. Now if you keep em indefinitely may be okay but if they’re removed the window has been altered. At least from what I’ve found. This Mopar route is interesting to me why they went that way and not in-channel and that’s only reason I can think maybe because of potential issues down the road they don’t wanna mess with.

I've had the EGR in-channel set for crew cab for 2 years now. No issues or breakage. IIRC they were $45 for the full set of 4.

Yeah I could see if after enough time they get removed that the weather stripping would be affected and not seal properly

Found this guys installation video and apparently the Mopar ones are in-channel for the front and clips for the back.
I just realized something though based off the comments....I have window tint....people saying in-channel scratches the top part of the tint even the glass. UGH!!!!! Well that's 4 mods this week that ain't getting done, NEED TO BLOW MORE MONEY ON TRUCK MODS!!! hah reality kicking my ass this week. So this is a pass I guess...hmmm

I had them on my 2017 in channel with no problems with tint on window... had more of a air leak. The Mopar are in channel and look hard to install. the rear ones have clip and in channel also. Which ones would you get AVS or Mopar(they look like weather tech ones).
