Ok fellas .... issue with my morimoto fogs .. I’m sure someone can help....

Lights mounted and installed... both work when lights are on but engine is off... when engine is running ones side flickers for a few and then goes out ..... sounds like a canbus issue. It’s a 2015 ram with the big cluster display.

Did yours come with the plug that had to be put together? I had a small issue with mine where it wasn't seated right and wasn't coming on.

The little prongs on mine kept pushing out, I really had to jam mine in the and hold it in place while plugging it in

grab the pins with a small pair of needle nose and pull, they should snap/stay in place before you plug the fog lights in

I installed mine tonight. 2016 and had to ream out the mounting tabs. used a file and it took 15 minutes. I turned them on in the garage, and they seemed pretty dim. I'll take the truck out tomorrow and get a better feel for the usable light as I have my garage bright as daylight.

Here's the fitment on mine .As you can see, both are in the same spot .I'm happy with everything on these lights. Wouldn't change anything. Light output is great, and install was easy. Don't matter to me that I had to drill out 4 holes .that is not a deal breaker for me. Don't mind the dirtyness.IMG_20180126_173059456.jpg IMG_20180126_173107460.jpg

Finally had time to install mine, 2017 no drilling at all. I did have an issue with the first one I did but it was my fault, I didn't have the bracket sitting correctly where the adjustment screw went thru so it wouldn't adjust down, once I corrected that it was fine

Now I know what they would look like on my truck. i have a light bar there as well. But I'm going to pass on those. Plus I just installed morimoto LED bulbs in my fog lights just 5 minutes ago and it's 19 degrees outside.

My truck is an ‘18 and my fitment is exactly the same as yours a little off on the drivers side. I also took them out and reinstalled to make sure I did’t mount it wrong and it’s the same.

you sure you have the oem brackets locating pins in the holes near the bolts?

My 2017 doesn't have that gap

Not sure what you mean, my OEM bracket lines right up with the holes for the bolts. I just screwed it back in like the factory housings

Mine have a molded in pin that fits into a hole at the lower outside bolt hole and upper bolt hole

I’m almost 100% positive mine didn’t have pins the holes just lined up like the original housing and I screwed them in.
