Looking for a snow and mud tire recommendation. I had a '14 with the stock offroad tires, that were rated mud and snow. They were good in the summer time and also excellent in the winter.
Now, my '19 classic is on stock 20" - I dont want to buy rims and winter tires, but a single set on the stock rims that can serve this purpose.
Any ideas ?
Thanks !

I have ridge grapplers for spring through fall, but on the ice they aren't very good and I switch to designated winters.Best 4 season tire I've run is the bfg at.

I'll sit this one out, not a lot of winter in Arizona best bet might be to look for the trucks that slid off the road, check what tires they have and don't buy that kind

Hey man. I’m from northern Ontario myself. Get rid of those stock tires ASAP. I run Goodyear Duratracs year round and love them

BFG KO2's
This was on a trip we did to Silverton back in Dec 2015 for Christmas vacations. This is with a Jeep Wrangler but the tire is the same regarldess of what is on top of them. Silverton Pass literally just hours away from being hit by the snow storm Goliath. I knew there was a storm moving in during those days but little did i know it was going to be as big as Goliath. We spend Christmas and new year there. My brother in law had the same tires in his Nissan Xterra and we didnt have a single issue with them anywhere we went. Best AT tire i've had for this type of conditions and i've tried many other brands/models. The 37 KO2s on my RAM are now my 5th set of KO2's officially.

KO2's or Ridge Grapplers by Nitto. I've had both, and are both solid tires for what you're talking about.

Living in Manitoba, we get the worst of the worst winters. I put Duratracs on the day it left the lot and they have been absolutely awesome year round. Even in deep snow out on the lake looking for a good fishin hole

+1 on the KO2’s. I had them on my truck. When they wore out I tried Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They’re a good tire, but the KO2’s are much better in winter weather.

if i had to pick anything listed above, it would be bfg ko2, if not them and could only get duratracs, then i would take a bus/taxi.

I have full time DuraTracs in Northern Michigan. Agree the OEMs are very marginal for winter driving.

KO/2s are the ones you want. Handle snow and winter weather like it's nothing. Great in the rain. I will never buy anything else.

Goodyear Duratracs on my truck, and BFG KO 2's on the wife's Wrangler, both are excellent. I'm sure there are many other good tires out there, but I know from experience these are great.

Stock sized duratracs on stock everything else. Bought the truck in january with bald SRAs, duratracs were on the shelf the day I was done playing around. They have seen a few months of the wisco winter expierence and been great so far.

holy replies, did not expect such an awesome comeback, LOL.
I will start looking today as we already had snow and more to come this week. I am not north by any canadian means, but it gets super windy around here in the farm fields.
Kinda disappointed in the reviews you give the OEMs
