thank you all for the kind words.this is my first diesel and dually so lots to learn.as for gills comment (top of the food chain ) i really had not thought of it like that but yes it has every option ram offers. now i just need to find out how much the truck weighs dry.i think the door tag says 6000.any ideas??

I think the last time I had my truck on the scales it tipped almost 7k, so I'm willing to bet your truck is closer to 8k.

I wouldn't doubt that your truck weighs as much as the trailer.

the reason im asking is i transferred my plates from the old truck to the new one and the registration says 7000lbs. the company i work for and the truck i drive for that company had plates and a registration that said 7000lbs but they are modified for a lift tools ect. it came in at 11000lbs so police were busting us for being over wieght vs what the registration says. plus im being told that police are combining the wieght of what ever you are pulling too.
