I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Express. I swapped-in a 2017 7" EVIC and a 2018 8.4 UAQ Nav/CarPlay/AA radio. How do I get the Navigation "Turn-By-Turn" graphic to display in my cluster? I have the prompt presnt and checked in my 8.4 and I did the AlfaOBD setting for "NAV turn by turn" ENABLED, but all I've gotten is a blank space where the graphic would be, and just above that is the text of the current street I'm traveling. Thanks in advance!!!

Not sure why its blank. My 2014 Express with a 2013 7" EVIC and 2018 UAQ displays turn by turn info with graphics.

I have a 2014 and put a 2015 premium cluster and nav turn by turn was blank as well. I enabled all that you did and never worked. I swapped out the 2015 cluster and put in a premium cluster from a 2014 and turn by turn works fine. It's a compatibility issue of some sort. Put in a 2014 cluster, it will work..

Thank you...I will consider doing that as an option 100%
Is your radio a 2014 as well? Is it possible that the compatibility of the cluster is dependent on the radio, instead of the truck year? I only ask because the NAV Turn-by-Turn is activated through "CustSetMenu" within the radio itself, and available to turn on/off through the radio. The 2017 cluster I have works together with the My18 UAQ for everything perfectly EXCEPT the turn-by-turn graphic

Yes, my radio is a 2014 as well. I had all the same identical issues you are having. Everything worked perfect except the turn by turn. Would show black screen with heading only. I swapped out the 15 cluster, put on a 14 and worked right away!

I have the nav turn by turn activated through the radio, cust set, and activated with alphaobd,in the truck BCM. But until I put in the 14 cluster, I had exactly what you are experiencing..

A couple years ago when I did the upgrades and had the issue you are having, I was here on the alfa obd thread, alot of members had the same issue, and one veteran member said the only fix was a 14 cluster, nobody had found a fix other than that. That thread is long, I think it was around page 970-1000 .its been a while. I just put a premium cluster in my wifes Dart, it's a 13, and on the Dart forum, everybody was saying the cluster upgrade needed to be a 13 so there were no glitches. I did that and there are no issues. Works perfect. Hope this info helps you..

Thank you! I can see how the 2014 cluster would synch correctly with a 2014 UAQ in a 2014 Ram; is it the 2014 radio that makes the cluster synch, or the 2014 Ram BCM? That's a big question because my radio is a 2018 UAQ

That I'm not sure about, I just remember other members having a problem with just the cluster upgrade. No problem with the radio. But I maybe wrong. From what I remember, 2015-2018 or so, clusters seem to interchange better, but 2014 there was a change from 2013. Then 2015-18 were the same.
