Why does my navigation screen give an error message "device not supported" any time a phone or game system is plugged into a USB port, and the rest of the screen is black? You can touch the screen and nav shows for a minute but then goes right back to the message

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here Cap. How old is your phone? The phones operating system my be out of date. I had that happen on a 2 year old phone not long ago. It doesn't take long for technology to update these date. However, I'm just guessing here. I'm old, and my system is still working on "dailup" tecnology.
