Need Advice on my new retros

Hey guys, I just put in a nice set of Retros from the Retroshop. Question is, the passenger side Projector didnt come on at first power up until I recycled power. Now it flickers a few seconds before coming on everytime. The driver's side does not do it. Thoughts anyone? The headlights are top notch other than this and Jeremy was great from start to finish.

I wouldn't worry about a bit of flickering at start up. I think that's pretty normal. Mine take a few seconds to fully light up when I turn them on.

I have a hid kit from jj. They take a couple of seconds to warm up but after they r good.

I haven't installed mine yet but JJ has been top notch to deal with. I'm sure if you got in touch with him he'd help you trouble shoot and get you sorted out if it's not normal.

I assume you have it, but just asking are you running his wiring harness?

Yep got his harness and everything. The flickering has come down a lot. Talking to JJ, Im gonna recheck all my grounds. I didnt sand the contacts as much as I should probably had. Not sure if that affects light output as well.

Just wanted to share how awesome these things are. Trucks also debadged all around minus the Ram heads.

mine did the same thing. Ended up being the prongs on the connector that plugs into the stock plug were not correct. i wouldnt use the lights until you make sure the wires are correct. Ballasts do not like power surges, it can prematurely wear them out.
