Hey All,
I'm looking for someone with a '13-'16 truck with the AC Inverter from the factory to perform a simple test for me.
If you have something connected to the Inverter and you turn on your running lights, does the light in the corner of the AC plug on the dash/console dim along with the rest of the dash lights?
And, if you're willing, if you pull fuse #79* in the TIPM/Fuse Box under the hood and then perform the same test, does it STILL dim?
* Fuse #79 runs the cab lights on a 2500+ and the wheel side lights on a 3500. It's not supposed to run anything on a 1500, but according to the wiring diagrams, is connected to the AC outlet, but it's purpose is unclear, thus this test.
Note: They eliminated the parking lamp connection to the outlet in the '17+ trucks, thus I need a pre '17 truck to test.
